I realized last night that next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Even though I had it on my calendar, it didn’t click in my brain. So I started plotting and planning what I could knit for my kids’ teachers.
I decided on bookmarks for Thursday, and if I have time, cup cozies for Friday. Monday through Wednesday are non-knitted gifts. Of course, the bookmark pattern I knit requires size 1 needles and all of my 9” circulars have socks on them, so I am using DPNs (Grrr….).
Knitting
WIPs
Bookmark. Last night, I cast on a bookmark for one of my oldest daughter’s three teachers. I should be able to finish it today and cast on another one tonight. I had one made and stashed away, so I only have to knit 4 more (including the one I cast on).

20+ Memorial Day Knitting Patterns
Florida is a very patriotic state. Really, the entire south is pretty patriotic. That's not to say that other areas of the country aren't, but I find it to be extra here in the Sunshine State.
How to Knit with Circular Needles
Knitting with circular needles seems intimidating if you're used to traditional straight needles. However, once you get the hang of it, you'll find that circular needles offer many advantages when knitting seamless garments like hats, socks, and sweaters.
Shortie Sock Summer MAL
😎Seriously contemplating hosting a Shortie Sock Summer MAL June 1 - August 1. I’ll be knitting vanilla shortie socks on 9” circulars.
Let me know if you want to join and I’ll set up something more formal.👙
