Knitting
Hermione’s Everyday Sock
I am knitting the leg of Hermione’s Everyday Sock #1. I’m having a ball with this pattern. It’s so fun to knit and it’s bringing me a tremendous amount of joy.
Yarn: Unicorn Solid
Colorway: Mustard
Pattern: Hermione’s Everyday Sock (Free)
Kate’s Hurricane Blanket
I’ve been working on my oldest daughter’s Hurricane Blanket. It’s such a soft, squishy yarn. I’m just knitting the entire thing, so it’s a dream to knit while watching TV or listening to a book. I’ve had some questions about the pattern. I don’t have one. I cast on about 230 stitches with US Size 6 Needles and I am flat knitting the entire thing.
Yarn: Hurricane
Colorway: Pink Coral
My First Sweater
I knit about 37 rounds on sleeve #1 of my first sweater. I estimate i need to knit about 50 rounds to get to 7”.
Bible Sweater
I am on still working on my Bible Sweater. I knit 34 rows so far. I’ve been asked about the pattern for this, too. I also don’t have one. I measured my bible to see how wide I need it to be. Then I measured the number of stitches I knit in 1”. Then I cast on the number of stitches to get the width I need. I am knitting on the right side (RS) and purling on the wrong side (WS).
Colorway: Sea Glass
Needles: Chiaogoo Circulars US Size 2
Red + Blue Stripes Shortie Sock #2
I knit 16 rows of the heel flap on Blue-and-Red Stripes Shortie Sock #2.
