My first sweater is getting closer and closer to the finish line!
I’m now working my way through the six-round decrease repeat on Sleeve #2. The pattern has me repeat these six rounds 15 times, so there’s still a fair amount of knitting ahead of me.
But at the same time… I’m officially in the home stretch!
There’s something about starting the decreases that makes the sleeve feel like an actual sleeve instead of just a long tube of knitting. Every completed repeat brings it a little closer to the finished shape AND the cuff!
I still have plenty of rounds to go, so I’m trying not to get too impatient. But when I look at how far I’ve come since starting this first sweater, it’s pretty exciting to realize that I’m getting close to finishing my second sleeve.
And once Sleeve #2 is done, I’ll have made it through one of the biggest milestones of my first sweater project — a sweater!
For now, I’m counting those six-round repeats and watching that sleeve get done.
15 repeats. One sleeve. One first sweater. And I’m getting there! 🧶
Happy knitting!
