My February Knits & Reads
February came and went in a blink of an eye! I rounded up what lived on my needles and what kept me company during the month. Think lots of knitting and a stack of reads that paired perfectly with a mug of something hot.

My first sweater is still on the needles. The good news is that I am on the body. The bad news is that I am still on the body. I have knit about 5” of the 17” body, so I still have a ways to go. It has gotten some love and attention this month that he hasn’t seen in quite some time.
I also cast on a new cover to upcycle another zipper pouch. I was hoping to finish this in time for Valentin’es Day, but alas, I did not.

I’ve also been working on a DK Uniform Shortie Sock and have almost half of the foot done.

Reading
February was another solid reading month. Here’s what I finished:
Beach Reads and Deadly Deeds ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Phoenix Pencil Company ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Girl I Was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Murder Takes a Vacation ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Julie Chan is Dead ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am currently reading The Correspondent.
You can order my February and other reads through Bookshop.org to add them to your bookshelf or TBR pile. Every purchase gives back to local bookstores and contributes to my Wool Work for Yarn Fund. Win-win!
February may be the shortest month, but it still managed to hold a few good chapters, on and off the needles. Between steady stitches, slow progress, and pages turned in quiet moments, this month felt less about rushing to the finish and more about enjoying the rhythm.
I’m carrying a work in progress or two, a growing TBR pile, and that familiar itch to cast on something new into March. Here’s to longer days, fresh yarn inspiration, and plenty of stories still waiting to unfold. 🧶📚
