It’s March in Florida, so Spring has definitely sprung. Lots of rain, cool nights and hot days. I rounded up what lived on my needles and what I read in March.

FOs (Finished Objects)

This is Hello Winter Sock #1. Done.

• Yarn: Freckled Whimsy

• Colorway: Hello Winter

• Needles: Chiaogoo Bamboo 9” Circulars

I finished five soap socks in Red, Hot Green, Watermelon Kisses, Mod Blue, + Yellow. I added them to my pile to ship off to Warm Up America.

• Yarn: Lily Sugar ‘N Cream 100% Cotton

• Colorway: Red, Hot Green, Watermelon Kisses, Mod Blue + Yellow

• Needles: 9” Circulars US Size 8

DK Uniform Shortie Sock is pair #5 for the year.

I finished my Love is in the Air Upcycled Zipper Pouch.

WIPs (Works in Progress)

I am on round 11 of the Dino-mite sock foot. I finished the foot and made it to the toes on the Plateau de Valensole Sock #1.

(Yes, they are inside out. That’s how I knit my socks. I was too lazy to flip them right side out.)

Since I am using the Dino-mite yarn for the toes on the Plateau de Valensole sock, I have to wait until I finish with the foot on the Dino-mite sock.

I gave very little love to my first sweater this month, so it is still on the needles. I knit 6 of the 60 rounds that I estimate I have left to finish the body!

• Yarn: Lion Brand Pound of Love – Sugar Cookie

• Needles: Chiaogoo Red Twist Interchangeable US Size 6

I decided to knit a blue-and-red striped shortie sock for my middle child. I am on round 6 of the 10-round cuff in red.
