I love your approach. Another thing I learned from my last (and only) sweater was to think carefully about the style and what looks good on you. My last project was knitting a sweater that my knitter par excellence friend had knit several times… so it came highly recommended… except that her body is not shaped anything like mine. It looks great on her. Definitely not on me! ☹️ I am going to try to rip it out and re-knit it!
Thanks for mentioning these three great learning sources. I attended one of the summits put on by the Yarnist and both Chantal and Jessica took part. I have been part of the Yarnist community since they started as Stitch-A-Day. They have produced a lot of really great YouTube videos and are definitely worth subscribing. Chantal and Jessica have designed some great patterns.
I love it when the universe tells me what to do.
Thanks for these resources! I’m starting my sweater knitting journey this year! 🧶

Yes! I found them to be great resources!
Beautiful sweater! And I love how you slowly carved your path to sweater knitting. This will be one cherished sweater. ❤️
